Traveling Workshops

The Writing Center offers traveling workshops that take place in the classroom. Faculty members are invited to call the Writing Center to schedule a workshop in any area, and a tutor will come to the class.

The list of workshop topics includes, but is not limited to, brainstorming, creating a thesis statement, supporting details, finding a research question, steps in research paper writing, MLA/APA style documentation, summarizing, paraphrasing, annotating a text, and note-taking.
