Other things to remember - Provide a valid e-mail address:
- If you provide a valid e-mail address when you file your application, you will receive an e-mail with a URL to access your application results. If you and your parents used a PIN to sign your FAFSA and there are no other problems with your application information, you may receive an e-mail notification in as little as 24-72 hours.
- Be sure to look at your application results when you receive the e-mail notification and download a copy of the results, which is called the Student Aid Report (SAR) for your records.
- Your SAR contains the information reported on your FAFSA and usually includes your Expected Family Contribution (EFC).
- The EFC is an index number used to determine your eligibility for federal student aid.
- Review your SAR information and make any corrections or changes, if necessary. Once you list Bronx Community College on your FAFSA, the college will receive your SAR data electronically.
