Student Eligibility
To be eligible for federal and state aid, students must meet all of the following criteria's:
- A U.S. citizen, permanent resident or eligible noncitizen.
- Meet the Satisfactory Academic Progress standard for federal student aid programs.
- A valid Social Security Number.
- A high school or state-approved home school graduate or have a GED or have been home-schooled.
- Not be convicted of possessing or selling illegal drugs while receiving financial aid.
- Registered for Selective Service if you are a male between the ages of 18 and 25.
- Not be in default of a Federal loan or owe an overpayment on a federal grant or Federal Perkins Loan.

You must also:
- Enroll in an eligible program of study at the College.
- Enroll for at least six credits to be eligible for federal loans.
- Certify by signing a FAFSA that you will use any federal student aid funds awarded to you solely for educational purposes.
- Certify by signing a FAFSA that you are not in default of any federal student loan and that you do not owe a repayment of any federal student aid grant.
