What is CUNYfirst?


Due to CUNYfirst maintenance occurring this weekend which will cause CUNYfirst to be unavailable from Saturday, August 25th at 7 pm to 7 pm on Sunday, August 26th the 100% tuition refund period for dropping classes has been extended to Monday, August 27th, 2018. As of Tuesday, August 28th the 75% refund period will begin. There are no changes to the other refund periods.

What is BCC One Path?

BCC One Path allows you to store and manage your passwords in one convenient and secured location.

How Does It Work?

Just log into BCC ONE Path using your BCC Bronco ID and gain access to your accounts without being prompted to log in again to each of them.  It’s that simple!  If you are a first-time user, you will need to configure the system based on your preferences.  For more information, click here to visit our website.

CUNYfirst January Maintenance: CUNYfirst unavailable starting at 7pm on Sat. January 15

CUNYfirst has a has scheduled monthly system maintenance on the weekend January 15 – January 16, 2022. CUNYfirst will be unavailable for up to 24 hours.

Maintenance Start: 7pm ET on Saturday, January 15 ����������������� � Maintenance End:�7pm ET on Sunday, January 16

Only CUNYfirst is unavailable during this maintenance. Other applications, such as Blackboard and DegreeWorks, remain available through the CUNY Login page.

Monthly Maintenance (December) – Deferred to January.

The December CUNYfirst monthly maintenance�is being deferred and will be merged into the January 2022 CUNYfirst monthly maintenance.

CUNYfirst PeopleSoft 9.2 upgrade – December 16-20

The CUNYfirst upgrade to PeopleSoft 9.2 is scheduled for 7:30 pm on December 16 through 10:00 pm on December 20. CUNYfirst HCM and Finance systems will be unavailable as follows during this PeopleSoft 9.2 upgrade:

Unavailability Start:  7:30 pm on Thursday, December 16, 2021

Unavailability End:�� 10:00 pm on Monday, December 20, 2021

CUNYfirst – which stands for Fully Integrated Resources and Services Tool – is a suite of software that has replaced many of our aging computer systems in the areas of Student Administration, Finance and Human Resources. The ongoing implementation of all CUNYfirst applications involves a multi-year process with CUNY colleges being brought online several institutions at a time. The new software continues to play a key role in helping the University realize its goal of an integrated CUNY.

    Putting into place systems and procedures that comply with CUNY's common goal of providing the best customer service to our students, faculty, staff and community

    Implementing common processes that can be accepted across the University while allowing campuses to continue their unique missions
  • Self-Service
    Making available modern systems and processes that allow the user more control and flexibility
  • Accurate and timely information to better serve students, faculty and staff
    Accessing information in real time
  • Replacement of aging computer systems
    Retiring systems that have reached their capacity and replacing them with the most modern educational and business systems

Whom does CUNYfirst affect?

Everyone in CUNY. Students, faculty and staff are all affected in a positive way. With this integration, students' records are linked to business and finance systems, and personnel records for faculty and staff are connected University-wide.

CUNYfirst consists of three main sections: Campus Solutions (Student Administration), Human Resources and Finance. In each of these sections, new systems have changed the way we do business in a number of key areas:
