The Sloan Consortium
The Sloan Consortium (Sloan-C) is an institutional and professional leadership organization dedicated to integrating online education into the mainstream of higher education. The Sloan website has a tremendous breadth of resources. Access to these resources requires registration. To establish your account, click on the "Register" link, choose "institutional membership," and enter Bronx Community College. Once in the site, one recommended resource is the peer-reviewed Journal of Asynchronous Learning Networks (JALN).
The Syllabus Finder
An excellent resource for finding online syllabi across disciplines. Don't be fooled by the apparent focus on history on the web page. Enter your discipline in the search box and you will find many examples to peruse. Click on the "Web Links" button on the left to jump to more extensive collections of online books, syllabi, and resources across all disciplines.
