BCC-WNET is a service that provides the Bronx Community College community with wireless access in several areas across the campus. Access to the BCC-WNET is restricted to Bronx Community College students, staff, faculty and sponsored guests. No registration is required for access, only a valid user name ID is needed. Bronx Community College provides encrypted access for most 802.11b (Wi-Fi) equipped computers.
Note: The actual BCC-WNET login, Send and Receive DATA are encrypted.
Login Standards:
Standards will apply to all college locations where wireless has been setup.
We will have a General or Guest account that will provide users with access to the Internet and Email.
We will have user accounts that will provide users with access to Internet and Email, and other college resources according to user rights.

This will help us to prevent anyone with malicious intent to gain control of your files or any personal information stored in your computer.
