HOW DO I KNOW WHERE TO GO FOR TUTORING?

Review the list of the Tutoring Centers to decide which one is appropriate for you or ask your instructor for a recommendation.

WHAT IS TUTOR TRAINING?

The College offers national certification for tutors at BCC. The College Reading and Learning Association provides the credential which is issued after the training and tutor work requirements are completed.

HOW FREQUENTLY IS IT HELD?


Level I training for new tutors is usually held on two days, normally on two Fridays during the first month of each semester. Level II and Level III training each require two days of training and are scheduled later in the semester when candidates are ready.
