Welcome to the home of the BCC Speech, Drama & Debate Team!
Team members participate in Debate, speechmaking, as well as oral interpretation of poetry, prose and drama. Under the direction of Communication Arts and Sciences faculty member Carmen Meyers, the team travels to regional tournaments in addition to performing on campus
at a variety of college events and celebrations.
In recent years, the BCC Speech, Drama and Debate team has won over 30 trophies and participated in competitions held at NYU, St. Anselm College, Seton Hall University, and other regional locations. Debate students have also attended the prestigious Lafayette College Summer Debate Camp in Pennsylvania.
The team meets every Thursday, Club Hours (noon – 2 pm) in Colston 702.
