M.E.N. - Male Empowerment Network
M.E.N. - Male Empowerment Network is 1 of more than 30 CUNY BMI projects funded by CUNY BMI to provide additional layers of academic and social support for students that are severely underrepresented in higher education, in particular African, African American/Black, Caribbean and Latino/Hispanic males.
Mission – M.E.N. - Male Empowerment Network is designed to recruit, enroll, retain and improve the degree completion/transfer rates of all male students, in particular Black and Latino male students from various social and economic backgrounds by providing a multi-faceted service approach and support structure that promotes academic achievement, personal & professional development, and networking opportunities that encourages them to enroll in college, remain in college, graduate from college, and achieve their academic & career goals.
Vision – M.E.N. - Male Empowerment Network is committed to working diligently to serve all male students addressing their academic and social development needs via a variety of engagement opportunities.
