  • It is the intent of the College to comply and enforce the provisions of Public Health Law Article 21, Title IV, Section 2165-Immunization: All students born on or after January 1, 1957 and registering for 6 or more credits and attending New York State colleges/universities are required to show proof of immunity against measles, mumps, and rubella.  Students will not be permitted to register without this proof..
  • Proof of immunity to measles means that the student must have had TWO doses of LIVE measles vaccine on or after one's first birthday and at least 30 days apart, or physician documented history of having had the disease, or serological evidence of immunity.
  • Proof of rubella means that the student must provide proof of having one dose of Rubella vaccine on or after one's first birthday, or serological evidence of immunity. History of having had the disease does not confer immunity.
