Welcome to Bronx Community College of the City University of New York. Since 1957, Bronx Community College has advanced from its humble beginnings of 123 students to becoming the educational cornerstone in the success of tens of thousands of students. Today, BCC prepares over 11,000 students each semester for either transferring to a senior college or for career preparation opportunities. Our beautiful 45-acre tree-lined campus located in the University Heights section of the Bronx draws students from over 30 countries.

At BCC you will have the opportunity to experience cutting- edge academic programs, outstanding faculty, affordable tuition and flexible class schedules to accommodate your busy life. Choose from more than 35 majors raging in accounting, nursing, business, engineering, automotive technology, computer science, nuclear medicine, digital arts and much more.

Besides its selection of award-winning academic programs, BCC also offers a wide range of comprehensive support services. Experienced faculty advisors and a professional counseling staff assist students select the program best suited for their needs and goals. In addition, the College has a Learning Resource Center providing tutoring for any discipline, 14 academic computing labs, including Math and Writing Labs. Lastly, to meet the needs of BCC students, the college also offers the service of a licensed day care for the pre-school children of enrolled students, and an after-school program for school-age youth.

Known for its traditional campus atmosphere and for offering students the means to excel academically, BCC also provides the opportunity for students to participate in a variety of extracurricular activities. The College offers a complete spectrum of clubs, activities and winning athletic teams allowing students to make new friends, become student leaders, participate in community service, gain work experience, and have fun!
